A GEORGETOWN EASTER,
APRIL 2006
A beautiful spring day. Not too cool. Not too warm. Church bells singing relays in the tree tops, choirs heard through the open doors. Spencer and I gathered with a couple dozen others at the home of Toby and Myra Moffett for an old-fashioned southern Easter supper.

A PARTY AT THE FOUR SEASONS
SEPTEMBER 2005
These pics are from a party 9/22/05 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown. The occasion was the re-opening of the hotel's recently refurbished rooms combined with the ongoing launch of Capitol File magazine. Like most parties, I went with a girlfriend. Usually it's Izette or Myra, and tonight it was Myra because Iz had to go to "back to school night." At parties I'd rather hang with one friend, watch everyone else, take pics and then get home. Tonight was no different, but it was a good party. Amazing food.

The one and only John Fox Sullivan, spreading himself around.
The sushi bar, where I spent most of my time.
The dumpling bar on the left, and little spoons of various tartares on the right.
Four Seasons Hotel manager, Chris Hunsberger; Capitol File publisher, Jason Binn; photog Carol Joynt.

Myra with Marguerite Gould, manager of the Polo store, and other blond friends.
The champagne bar on the left; the vodka bar on the right (made of ice, natch).
Septime Webre, giving us equal time.
Myra with Hani Masri

Desserts were in multiple multiples; so were the cheeses.
We worked together for four years, but this was my first reunion
with Larry King in ages. It was the highlight for me.

Joey Pants (aka Joe Pantoliano), but to us Sopranos' fans forever Ralphie.
Myra got his front. I got his back. (We don't take this stuff seriously, btw.)
Tammy Haddad, once Larry King's producer, now getting it
done for Chris Matthews.
